Hundreds of people in Bulileka in Urata, Labasa are stranded in their area for three days now as their main road is completely underwater.

A resident Vinod Prakash said students and workers have been staying home now for three days and they cannot do much as the Urata road is the main access and the bridge is also under water.

Prakash said low lying areas are flooded however flood waters have not entered the homes.

He said it is raining and windy in the area.

We are trying to get the Commissioner Northern on this.
