Hundreds of residents in Delainavesi, Lami are calling for assistance from the Government and the Water Authority of Fiji after being without water for the past three days.
A concerned resident who reached out to fijivillage News expressed frustration, saying they are struggling to access water as WAF has not sent any water carting trucks.
He stressed that water should not be seen just as a basic need but as a fundamental human right.
The resident further says that water carting trucks should have at least provided them water for essential such as washing and cooking.
He adds that this has been happening for some years and he is urging the Government and the Minister responsible to look into this.
Questions were sent to WAF yesterday.
They have yet to respond.
