The Fiji Women’s Hockey side had a historic first win at their Hockey 5’s World Cup campaign after edging hosts Oman 3-2.
They were down 1-0 at half time.
Divyankar Kumar who scored the winning goal says they kept psyching each other up, even though they were trailing with 1 goal.

Kumar says they told themselves before the game that they were going to fight for it and that is what they did.
She says it is a very proud moment for them and their families back at home and even better to be making history.
Earlier, Fiji lost their first game 14-1 to world number one side Netherlands.
The Fiji Women’s side will face Malaysia at 6.30 tonight in their final pool match.
