Afghanistan secured a historic win after they defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets for the first time in their 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup match this morning.
This is also only Afghanistan's third World Cup win and is one of their highest successful chase in the tournament.
Afghanistan has moved up to 6th place with 4 points, leaving defending champions England bottom of the table with 2 points.
Afghanistan Captain Babar Azam made 74 runs.
Bangladesh will face South Africa at 8.30 tonight.
India is leading the points table with 10 points followed by New Zealand with 8 points while South Africa is third with 6 points.
