The Head of the Catholic Church Of Fiji, Archbishop Peter Loy Chong believes that the high number of domestic violence cases is also linked to the high number of people taking drugs in the country.
Archbishop Chong says it can be seen now that a lot of people are taking up methamphetamine and this leads to other social issues.
He says methamphetamine takes you to another level and this leads to acts of domestic violence.
Archbishop Chong also says that men who use the bible to condone their acts of domestic violence are misquoting the bible.
