The Suva High Court's decision to grant bail for Sebastian Rakai who allegedly attempted to set fire to the Totogo Police Station in September last year, will be known this afternoon.

Rakai appeared before High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe this morning.

Justice Rajasinghe told both counsels that the court will grant Rakai bail but it has to be with proper conditions.

The prosecution did not object to bail.

Rakai is charged with one count of attempt to commit arson, two counts of damaging property and one count of criminal intimidation.

The High Court will make its judgement on the bail application at 2.30pm today.
