Hee-Chan Hwang's late winner sends Koreans through to last 16

South Korea dramatically reached the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup on goals scored after Hee-Chan Hwang struck a 91st-minute winner to beat Portugal 2-1.

Portugal had already qualified for the knockout stages. Meanwhile, Uruguay were knocked out of the World Cup on goals scored despite beating Ghana 2-0 after South Korea's dramatic win against Portugal.
