Heavy rain warning issued as Tropical Cyclone Seru tracks southeast

Heavy rain warning remain in effect as Tropical Cyclone Seru continues its southeastward track, currently located to the far southwest of the nation.

The Nadi Weather Office says that the cyclone's movement is expected to enhance northwesterly winds, bringing widespread rainfall to most parts of Fiji starting today.

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and urge the public to stay informed with weather updates.

They also emphasize that with the system expected to develop further, residents should take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and preparedness as the cyclone progresses.
