Roadworks on Edinburgh Drive in Suva have been affected by heavy rain from last night.
The Fiji Roads Authority says some works that had already been completed were damaged by the heavy downpour.
The FRA says its contractor, China Railway Fifth Group is doing preparatory works to get this reinstated.
This is likely to be completed today if the weather is favorable.
