A health assessment is currently being undertaken by health officials in Koroboya village in Ba where movement is being restricted due to a typhoid outbreak.
Acting National Advisor Communicable Disease Dr Mike Kama said that a more detailed inspection is being done to see whether more people are suffering from typhoid.
He added that after the recent cyclone there are confirmed reports of typhoid cases in this area which they are trying to contain.
