The Health Ministry is working on a cabinet paper to make it compulsory for junk food advertisements to be banned.
National Adviser for Non Communicable Diseases Dr Isimeli Tukana said they are trying to partner with the food industry if they can have some control on their advertising of unhealthy foods to children.
He said they are also trying to ensure that it will not be a major loss for the businesses.
