The Ministry of Health has confirmed that it is looking into a complaint regarding medical services at the Samabula Health Centre that has been lodged with them on Tuesday afternoon.
Rajan Prasad had raised concerns after visiting the Samabula Health Centre on Tuesday afternoon for a routine checkup.
Prasad claims that when it was his turn to see the doctor, the medical professional was asking the nurse to run errands and to buy bread and tuna during the consultation.
He claims that when he raised concern about this issue, he was told by the doctor to be quiet and his medical file was later transferred to another doctor at the same health centre.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed to Fijivillage that they will look into this complaint before making any official comments.
