We all have irreplaceable moments in our lives that we will cherish for a lifetime and for Fiji Water Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo, having King Charles III saluting back to him is a moment he will never forget.

Wainiqolo who is well known for his aggression, power and speed on the field and his funny character off the field was in his comedian mode in a video posted on a social media platform when one of the players asked him how he felt meeting the King for the first time.

He says it was a moment of his life.

Wainiqolo says he was happy and surprised at the same time when he saluted to the King and the King turned and saluted back to him.

King Charles III was accorded a Fijian traditional escort by the Flying Fijians players when he arrived in Bordeaux, the players stood on each side of the walkway and sang the famous “Oqo na noqu masu” song as the King walked through.

The Flying Fijians will take on Georgia in their next pool game next Sunday at 3.45am in Bordeaux.

Meanwhile, in the RWC matches played this morning, Portugal and Georgia drew 18-all, England thrashed Chile 71-0 while World Champions South Africa lost to Ireland 13-8.
