Hari Punja & Sons Ltd sells shares in CFL

Communications Fiji Limited has today announced that with the Media Industry Development Decree 2010 in place, Hari Punja & Sons Ltd today has sold its entire shareholding of 27.82% to Parkinson Holdings Ltd.

The trade today involved 989,967 shares at $2.10 per share.

With this purchase, Parkinson Holdings Ltd representing Managing Director William Parkinson, will now have 55.48% shareholding in CFL.

An announcement will be made in due course with regards to change in the board of CFL.

Hari Punja who was the chairman of CFL said as the founding shareholder, the decision to sell was a very difficult one but he had very little choice in the matter and is pleased that the control remains in the hands of the founding shareholders.
