The HIV rate in Fiji now stands at 7 per 100,000 people.
This means that out of 100,000 people in Fiji, at least seven are expected to contract HIV.
According to the Health Ministry, 645 HIV cases were recorded in Fiji between 1989 and 2015.
It says that Syphilis and Gonorrhoea are the most recorded sexually transmitted infections in Fiji.
The rate of Gonorrhoea in Fiji has varied over the years but it stands at about 150 per 100,000 people while Syphilis stands at about 50 per 100,000 people.
