The HFC Bank has donated $5,000 to the Fiji Cancer Society.

Bank CEO Rakesh Ram says this has been a passionate cause for the bank for several years and the effort of his staff and leadership team towards improving the livelihoods of Fijians in need remain an inspiring attribute that speaks volumes to the core of who they are.

Fiji Cancer Society’s President and Chairman, Makarava Wilson thanked the bank’s team for their continued support shown towards those diagnosed with cancer and says that funds will go towards the society’s patient support services.

He says cancer does not only affect one individual but the whole family and encouraged every Fijian to continue self-examination of their bodies and reminds that early detection is key to fighting the illness.
