HFC Bank customers can use Westpac ATMs and EFTPOS machines for transactions Fiji wide.

This has been confirmed by HFC Bank General Manager Retail Banking Tony Ram after a customer had complained that HFC does not have an ATM in Nausori.

Ram says the bank has Westpac interchange which has a wide range of ATM network with close to 1,000 access points.

Ram says there is an interchange fee of $1 and HFC cards can be used on Westpac EFTPOS as well. There is no fee charged for the purchase of goods through Westpac EFTPOS.

The government has waived EFTPOS fees from the 1st of this month.

Ram says they have addressed the complaint by the customer. He says Nausori does not have an ATM at the moment but the bank has seen a few locations, having already acquired an ATM to install when they secure a location.

He says apart from that the bank will be signing on more agents in addition to its 23 existing agents to provide more services for its customers and will be installing one ATM in Nausori and one in Nadi.
