Chandrabose and MMM Keeravaani won best song for Naatu Naatu, and riffed on The Carpenters' hit song Top of the World - they sang a version with lyrics about their film RRR and India.
It's the first Indian feature film to be nominated for anything other than best international film at the Academy Awards.
RRR stands for Rise, Roar, Revolt – it missed out on any film nominations, but is a historical fantasy that tells the story of two revolutionaries who fight against British rule in India.

Jamie Lee Curtis has won the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award for Everything Everywhere All at Once while The Best Supporting Actor went to Ke Huy Quan for Everything Everywhere All at Once.
This was Curtis's first Oscar nomination at the age of 64, and she's now taking home the coveted prize for her performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Curtis plays hard-nosed inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdra in the absurdist comedy drama set across various multiverses.
Quan gave a triumphant and emotional speech for his win for best supporting actor.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio wins best animated feature
As expected, Guillermo del Toro - who is no stranger to the Oscars having previously won two Academy Awards for The Shape of Water - has picked up the first prize for his version of classic tale Pinocchio.
The dark stop-motion adaptation recently won the Bafta's equivalent award, too.
The puppets were made by animation studio Mackinnon and Saunders, based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
