Suva Grammar School will be coming in with a lot of surprises in terms of their formation in this year’s Coca-Cola Games with the aim of winning the competition this year.
Grammar athletics coach and former Fiji sprinter, Jone Delai revealed this to fijivillage News and said last year they surprised everybody in the girls’ division and just came short with one gold medal but this year they have a balanced team.
Delai says one of the major reasons their girls came short last year is because they had fewer athletes available in the category but this year they have enough.
He adds they have also prepared their field events athletes well to the standard that can provide positive results.
Delai says they are also fortunate to see the unwavering support from the parents and the old scholars this year.
