Govt sets aside $5.2M for Namosi development assistance

$5.2 million is set aside by government for development assistance in the province of Namosi this year.

Minister of Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou highlighted this while opening the two day Namosi government roadshow at the Nakavika grounds.

Tuitubou said the government is committed to addressing the challenges faced by rural people to access government services.

Some of the development projects that are in progress in the province include the Dada government station, the new nursing station at Waivaka and the extension of the electrification grid from Vunibau to Naraiyawa.
