More than 200 students of Lomary Secondary School in Serua and 12 villages in the nearby areas now have access to free internet.
This is after Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama opened the Lomary Secondary School Telecentre today.
Commodore Bainimarama said every Fijian deserves equal access to technology.
Form Five student Eroni Masau said the Telecentre will save costs and time in doing their school work as they normally go to Deuba or Navua to access the internet.
10 Telecentres are already running with close to 20,000 people now using these facilities.
