Minister for Lands, Filimoni Vosarogo says the government is aware of the opposition by the Mataqali Nabukebuke in Namosi regarding the renewal of the Prospecting License and is seeking ways to resolve the disagreement.
Vosarogo says the issue of the license renewal has been discussed and must be addressed through dialogue.
He also acknowledged the strong opposition to the renewal of the Special Prospecting License.
The Minister also confirmed that he will meet with the Mataqali Nabukebuke later this month.
