Students of Nadogo Central College in Vanualevu now do not need to travel 45 kilometers to Labasa town to access internet as the service has been brought right to their door.
The opening of the Government Telecentre today at the school has brought a lot of joy amongst the 530 students and Head Girl, Radhika Reddy said they will also save a lot of money now.
Meanwhile, the owner of the Nadogo Secondary School land, Ratu Solomone Catarogo said internet service will also help those who want to set up small businesses.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama while opening the Telecentre this morning stressed that the most important thing for him is for his government to do what other governments did not do.
He said this includes to deliver services to all Fijians wherever they live, better access to electricity, clean water, affordable housing, education and transport.
