In order to distribute text books to all the schools on time, three more printing machines worth $335,409 will be brought into the country for the Government Printery.
Australian Development Cooperation Counsellor to Fiji Joanne Choe said that under the Access Quality Education Program, the Australian Ministry of Education wants to bring in three more machines which will speed up the printing of text books.
According to Choe, a folding machine, a stitching and a guillotine machine will arrive in the country in two to three months time.
Choe also said the Government Printery staff will undergo a training session with the Heidelberg Graphics Ltd trainers.
Meanwhile, three printing machines worth $848,500 have already been handed over to the Education Ministry earlier this week.
