The Government is making Health Care accessible when people need it and in some communities 24 hours a day.

This was the sentiment of Fiji First MP, Dr Brij Lal during the 2018/2019 National Budget.

Dr Brij Lal says that Maternity Leave is an important employment protective leave for the absence of employed women in times of child birth and he congratulated the government for extending the leave from 84 to 98 days.

Lal says paternity leave will also allow fathers to spend quality time with their wife and new born.

He adds that some people expect the budget to be a bag of goodies however he says it is meant to be a tool box full of equipment that people need to use to build the nation together.

Dr Brij Lal adds that the Fiji First Government is planting the trees which will not be blown away by any cyclone unless the opposition chops it down.
