Good news for the students of Navuso Agricultural School in Nausori after the government allocated half a million dollars for next year.

Manager of the school Reverend Malakai Tuikadavu says the grant encourages them to move forward in their service especially in facilitating students aged between 18 to 25 years old.

The Institute also received 22 farming machines worth around $600,000 from the Hubeii province of the People’s Republic of China through the Government.

He adds the machines will help in minimizing the cost of buying supplementary feed.

Malakai highlights that the machines will make their work easier and faster especially the grinding of corns and cassava for supplementary feeds for livestock, prawns and fish.
