Gospel High School is celebrating it’s 51st anniversary.
Students, teachers, parents as well as former students had gathered yesterday to attend the celebrations which were held in Foster Hall named after the school’s founder Foster Crane.
Also attending the special occasion was Naomi Mckinnon who had first come to Fiji as a teacher at Gospel Mission High School as the school was called back then.
Mckinnon says she has spent more than thirty 35 years at the school after which she had returned to New Zealand.
She says after her retirement from teaching she couldn’t stay away and kept coming back.
McKinnon says she has now spent forty seven years of her life dedicated to the school.
McKinnon says the children of Gospel High are her children and she has no regrets about not getting married.
