Good news for residents in the wider Nasinu area as the Health Ministry has now confirmed that it is currently looking at plans to establish a 24 hour service at the Valelevu Health Centre.
It says they are also looking at expanding the emergency room, increasing the number of health personnel and improve spacing for patients and staff at the Valelevu Health Centre.
The Ministry says at the moment the Valelevu Health Centre is open from Monday to Friday with General Outpatient services normally ceasing at 4.00pm but staff may be rostered to deal with any emergencies until the Centre closes at 10pm.
