Local artist Etta Gonerogo known for her hits Toso Mada Mai and 2 Bags Wacala is part of a collaboration with the mother of reggae Sister Phumi.
Sister Phumi is launching an album in collaboration with 27 women from Africa and abroad on Monday.
Gonerogo and Danielle Morgan of PNG are two of the female artists from the Pacific part of the collaboration.
This is all part of Sister Phumi's Women in Reggae Movement.
Sister Phumi was the first woman to go solo when reggae music was still male-dominated.
She told Legend FM Breakfast with Alex and Victoria that for artists anywhere in the world to grow, they should have space for disappointment.
Speaking from South Africa, Sister Phumi says what they do after that moment of disappointment is important.
There will be a live stream of the album launch from 12am Monday showing performances from reggae musicians who have been a part of Sister Phumi's journey.
An appearance will be made from the Lucky Dube Band members "ToGaTa Sisters", ThuThuKani Cele and Jamaica's Don Dada.
