Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings believes there is a huge amount of pressure on them when they will participate in the Hong Kong 7s this weekend.
Gollings says there is a huge expectation for them as they are the defending champions and have won five consecutive tournaments.
He says Hong Kong 7s is a pinnacle event but none more so than for Fiji where there is a huge amount of support.
He adds that there is also an expectation that they will keep their record alive and make it six in a row.
Fiji’s first match is against Japan at 8.37pm Friday, then they will meet Spain at 4.15pm Saturday in their second match and play USA at 8pm Saturday in their final pool game.
The cup quarter-finals will start at 3.25pm Sunday, the cup semifinals will begin at 7.45pm Sunday and the final will start at 11pm Sunday.
