Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings and the Fiji Rugby Union will work out a strength and conditioning plan to help our players' performance while looking forward to the Los Angeles 7s later this month.
Fiji Rugby Union Interim CEO Tevita Tuiloa highlighted this after the comment made by the Fiji 7s coach that his players do not have enough time for recovery.
Tuiloa says the issue is not only being faced by the Fiji team but with other teams like New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and other men's and women's teams in the World 7s series.
He says this is something that the management of the team will sort out and find ways and plans for their strength and conditioning process.
He adds that Gollings has worked something out already for the LA and Vancouver 7s that will help improve and get the best out of the players.
Tuiloa says out of this, players will do their best on the ground and push Fiji's rank to be in the top 4 and qualify for the Olympics next year.
The LA 7s will be held from the 25th to the 26th of this month and the Vancouver 7s will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of March.
