Glasgow's world‑renowned School of Art has been gutted by another huge fire, four years after part of the building was destroyed by fire.

Flames ripped through the celebrated Mackintosh building after it caught fire earlier today.

The blaze has spread to nearby buildings, including the Campus nightclub and O2 ABC music venue, which suffered "extensive damage".

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said that no casualties have been reported, and more than 120 firefighters have been sent to the scene, faced with "an extremely challenging and complex incident.
