Georgia head coach, Levan Maisashvili has stated even though they have difficult opponents in the 2023 Rugby World Cup, their hopes are high that they can win 3 games in their pool to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Maisashvili says the Rugby World Cup is their Olympics and also the pinnacle of their career.
Georgian fly-half Tedo Abzhandadze says the Portugal team has become one of the teams to be reckoned with because they have a good back-line and have improved recently, while the Australian team has fast players who are physically strong.
The fly-half says the Welsh team is a great team with good players strong under the high ball,
Abzhandadze named the Flying Fijians as a strong and cool team that is probably one of the best team in the competition.
Meanwhile, with the result that stung the Georgian side and their fans after Fiji defeated them 45-10 during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, that result likely still stings them and will likely to revenge their loss in the upcoming RWC.
The Flying Fijians will play Wales in their first RWC game at 7am next Monday in Bordeaux. The RWC kicks off this Saturday with hosts France taking on the All Blacks at 7.15am in Paris.
