Gas, fuel and kerosene prices to increase from today

People will need to pay more for fuel, gas and kerosene as prices has increased from today.

Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has announced that the price of unleaded fuel has gone up by 8 cents to $2.87 per litre.

The price of diesel is $2.51 per litre which is an increase of 14 cents while the price of premix is $2.75 per litre an increase of 11 cents while kerosene has increased by 13 cents to $1.93 per litre.

FCCC says the price of 12kg gas is VAT exempt and is $35.35 an increase of $2.73 while a 4.5kg gas cylinder will cost $13.26 an increase of $1.03.

LPG will cost $1.91 an increase of 15 cents.
