For the first time in two years, fully vaccinated people will be allowed access to farewell their loved ones departing Nadi International Airport from tomorrow.
Fiji Airports Chairman, Geoffrey Shaw says COVID-19 protocols will remain in place and strictly enforced.
He says this relaxation coincides with the easing of worldwide travel barriers.
Shaw says this is a welcome change as they gradually ease and review their health and safety protocols in accordance with international best practices.
Meanwhile, Fiji Airports acting CEO, Isei Tudreu their airport tenancies including food and beverage outlets are fully operational and departing passengers can share time with their families and friends at one of their outlets.
He says the public is restricted from waiting for passengers in the arrivals area.
