UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees(UNRWA) has called for an urgent shipment of fuel to be delivered to Gaza later tonight since the fuel is running out fast.
While speaking to Sky News, the organisation's director of communications for Gaza, Juliette Touma says if they do not get that fuel that they urgently need tonight, they will have to make some tough decisions tomorrow morning that no humanitarian aid worker should be forced to make.
Touma says the UNRWA said its aid distribution operations in Gaza will be forced to end this evening unless it receives more fuel for its trucks.
She says the agency will not be able to deliver supplies, such as wheat flour, to those in need without fuel, and they will not be able to pick up provisions being delivered to the region the same will apply to medical facilities or water and sanitation stations.
She further says fuel is critical to the lives of people.
She adds in recent days Israel has allowed a small number of trucks with aid to enter the blockaded Gaza from Egypt but barred deliveries of fuel, saying it believes Hamas will take it.
