Finishing her education at Year 4 in Ba did not deter 34-year-old Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women's hooker Keleni Marama from pursuing her dream of becoming successful in life.
Marama says playing alongside her sister, who is also the captain of the team, is a blessing for her and their family.
The 34-year-old hails from Narata Village in Nadroga and shares maternal links to Nakorosule in Naitasiri.
She started playing in the Drua Women's team in 2022.
She further expresses that her family is happy that both of them have represented Fiji in the Drua Women's team because the earnings from rugby are also contributing to their family.
The Drua Women will take on the Western Force at 3.35pm this Saturday at Churchill Park in their second double header match of the year with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men playing the Western Force at 1.05pm.
In other Super Rugby Women matches this weekend, the Waratahs will play the Rebels at 6.05pm tomorrow and the Reds will take on the Brumbies at 6.05pm Saturday.
