The Digicel Fiji 7s team assistant coach will be looking at having more friendly matches after the final 12 member squad is named tomorrow for the Wellington and USA Sevens.
Etuate Waqa said that it is important for the players to be having a lot of game time as this could enhance certain skills which they are lacking.
Waqa said from the first pool match they play, the side will be tested and that they should not underestimate any team which was evident during the Uprising 7s last week.
Waqa added that there will also be more team bonding to allow players to know each other better.
Fiji is in Pool C in the NZ Sevens with Wales, Argentina and Tonga.
The New Zealand Sevens will be held in Wellington next Friday and Saturday.
