The French Navy vessel, La Morqueuse ( Morkesse )will be deployed to Northern Lau today to help those who have been affected by Cyclone Winston.
French Embassy representative Jules Irrmann says they will meet with NDMO to see if they are needed in any other places.
The French Navy vessel brought in relief aid such as temporary shelters and hygiene packs and also have French military engineers on board for rehabilitation and rebuilding purposes.
The La Morqueuese will depart Suva today.
Another French Navy vessel will arrive from New Caledonia today with more aid.
