A number of Resorts around the country are now teaming up with national carrier Air Pacific to offer grieving and homeless Christchurch residents free beachside holidays in Fiji.
Last week Air Pacific has announced a special $50 one way airfare for Christchurch customers until the 31st of March.
Now a number of properties on Denarau Island in Nadi are joining hands to bring some sought of relief to the people of Christchurch.
The Director of the Terraces Darly Hook said they will be offering free holiday packages to the affected families who want to take up the offer.
Hook revealed that a number of local businesses have also stepped forward to lend a hand to help.
Air Pacific CEO David Pflieger said Christchurch is a key market of Air Pacific and as a responsible airline, Air Pacific wants to play a part in being considerate and sympathetic in light of the utter devastations caused by the earthquake.
Pflieger added they hope the special offer will assist their loyal customers in Christchurch and Fiji.
