The French scored a total of 8 tries with fullback Tomas Ramos converting 6 conversions and a penalty while Melvyn Jaminet kicked one conversion and a penalty.
Italy only managed one converted try in the 3rd quarter of the game.
France held a commanding 31-0 lead at halftime before running away with the game in the second spell.

In the upcoming matches, Wales will take on Georgia at 1am tomorrow, England will play Samoa at 3.45am tomorrow, Ireland will play Scotland at 7am tomorrow, Japan will take on Argentina at 11pm tomorrow, Tonga will take on Romania at 3.45am Monday while the Flying Fijians will play Portugal at 7am Monday.
