Four players in the Skipper Cup Competition last week had undergone drug tests.
This has been confirmed by FRU Operations Manager and Tournament Director Sale Sorovaki who says this is to ensure that players are keeping rugby clean in the country.
Sorovaki says they have not received the results of the test and players who are tested positive of illicit drugs will be dealt with according to the rules and regulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
He says players should understand that using drugs and playing rugby does not go together.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union has announced that there won’t be any rugby union matches this week.
