The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team is gearing up for one of the most competitive tournaments in Commonwealth Games history.
After the recent World Sevens Series leg in London and the Oceania 7s in New Zealand, coach, Ben Gollings has found himself in a real test with Australia and New Zealand both showing dominant performances.
Gollings believes the Oceania 7s has set the pace for them which has also given them insight into what they should expect from top teams like South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and England.
The Fiji men’s team will play Zambia at 12.02am next Saturday.
Their second match is against Canada at 8.32am Sunday before they face Wales at 12.02am on 1st August.
Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s team will face Scotland at 8.22pm next Friday, they will meet South Africa in their second match at 4.30am Saturday before they face Australia at 8.22pm.
The quarter finals will start at 5.14am next Sunday, the semifinals will be at 10pm next Sunday while the Commonwealth Games 7s Gold Medal match will be at 8.26am on 1st August.
