Four conduct robberies in stolen taxi

Police are currently looking for four men who stole a taxi and used the vehicle in three robberies earlier this morning.

The taxi registration LT4417, which is a silver Toyota Fielder, is yet to be located.

The taxi driver told Fijivillage that two men hired his taxi from an apartment at Waimanu Road and then went to Raiwai at about 8pm.

Another two men then got into the taxi and they overpowered the driver and tied him up.

The driver was later thrown out at the Suva Cemetry.

The robbers fled in the taxi.

They robbed the Pacific Energy Service Station and the Kundan Singh Service Station early this morning.

They were also involved in a robbery at Lovoni Road.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a team of police officers is looking for the robbers.
