Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Employment, Osea Cawaru

Four Fijians will be leaving our shores for employment opportunities in Australia under the Pacific Labour Scheme next week.

These workers were recruited by Regional Workforce Management, Australia to work in a number of Meatwork facilities for a contract period of three years.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Employment, Osea Cawaru says the employer has placed confidence in the worker’s abilities, and reminded the workers not let them down.

Cawaru says this is their opportunity to impress and gain their trust and build a strong working relationship.

He urged the group to maintain their focus to work smart, learn as much as they can and save money for their families here in Fiji.

The first group of four workers will depart on 7th August for Rockhampton in Central Queensland while the second group of ten will depart on 14th  August to Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.
