Former prosecutor sworn in as new Magistrate

A former prosecutor at the DPP's Office was sworn in as a new Resident Magistrate at Government House today.

Sufia Hamza - Ali took her oath of office before President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau witnessed by the Chief Justice Anthony Gates and the Chief Registrar Irani Arachchi.

Hamza Ali held various posts in the DPP's Office before taking up her new role as Resident Magistrate.
