A former bank officer with the Fiji Development Bank pleaded guilty to corruption‑related offences in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Joji Cavalevu was charged by FICAC with one count of Obtaining a Financial Advantage last November.
Cavalevu admitted to misrepresenting the terms and conditions of an approved loan to a client which enabled him to obtain $4000 between October 2017 and 2018.
The matter has been stood down to this afternoon to fix a date for mitigation and sentencing hearing.
