Former Nadi Magistrate and People’s Alliance provisional candidate Siromi Turaga says the Alliance will ensure that the stories of people will be addressed if they come into government after this year's elections.
Speaking at a rally in Nadi, Turaga says he has heard stories about landowners giving land to the land bank and students under TELS being urged to change their courses because it is not sponsored under the scholarship scheme.
Turaga also claimed he lost his job because he told the Prime Minister that he has no power under the Public Health Act.
The former Magistrate says he had also visited Levuka for the past three months and one thing that has been told to him is that the roads there will only look good when the Prime Minister or cabinet ministers visit Levuka.
He says this should stop as the roads should be maintained for the people of the country.
