Former FijiFirst MP, Vijendra Prakash's trial to start next month

The trial of former FijiFirst MP, Vijendra Prakash who is charged with giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantage will begin on 19th September.

Prakash is alleged to have falsely stated that his permanent place of residence was in Waidracia, Vunidawa, Nabuni, Naluwai, Naitasiri and allegedly obtained $33,670.00 between August 2019 and March 2020 as parliamentary allowances.

The case will be called for mention on the 30th of this month.
