Former Fiji resident donates $30,000 for construction of Raralevu Gas Crematorium

The Priest and Trustee of Shri Ram Mandir in California, Parmanand Sharma who is also a former Fiji resident has donated $30,000 for the construction of the new Raralevu Gas Crematorium that is being built at the current location of the Raralevu Cemetery in Nausori.

Sharma says 20 former residents of Fiji who are members of the Shri Ram Mandir in California have raised the funds.

The President of Raralevu Cemetery, Ratnesh Bhawan says construction work is underway.

Work on the crematorium is expected to be completed by the end of March next year.
